Eliminating Procrastination:

Wealthy people do not procrastinate. The reason is because procrastination impairs quality, creates dissatisfied customers and clients and can even result in lawsuits as you rush to complete a task or project for a client. There are certain techniques to help you avoid procrastination:

  1. Take on the most important, hardest task of the day. This helps build momentum and confidence.
  2. Create a Daily Goals List the night before. By pre-planning your next day on paper the night before you enable your subconscious mind to focus on the daily goals while you sleep. Oftentimes daily goals that seem insurmountable the night before become much easier to accomplish the following day
  3. The “Do It Now” technique is a self-nagging technique that forces you to nag yourself into performing a particularly distasteful task. In the beginning it will take ten or more of these affirmations to nag you into performing the task. Eventually, just the thought of saying “Do It Now” will move you to action.
