If you study the internal structure of the brain, you will notice that billions of neurons are connected to billions of other neurons through a web of axon branches and dendrites that resemble modern-day depictions of the universe.

If you look at a picture of the Milky Way, for example, you will notice that it resembles a neuron, with its “axons and dendrites” forming an inter-connected web. The billions of stars appear to firing out light, similar to how neurons fire their electric-based light.

If you then take a look at depictions of the universe, it appears that each galaxy is connected to other galaxies, much like neurons are connected to other neurons.

if you were to compare the depiction of the brain to the depiction of the universe, you can’t help but notice they look very similar, in their structure, in their function and in their connectedness.

This brain-study rabbit hole has only resulted in me having more questions than I had at the beginning:

  • Is the universe one big brain?
  • Are galaxies, individual neurons within this universal brain?
  • Is each galaxy connected to each other galaxy, like neurons are connected inside the brain?
  • Do the black holes at the center of every galaxy act as a computer server, storing electromagnetic photonic data it gathers from each one of its stars?
  • Is each star then a receiving and transmitting hub of information it receives from its planets, transmitting that information to the black hole “server” within its galaxy?

The above thought experiment has been consuming me for a number of years now.

I sometimes wish I had never begun the study of wealth, poverty and habits. It has taken me down far too many rabbit holes and has made me question everything I learned in school and everything thought I knew.

I have concluded that the world we live in is far more complex than I can comprehend. It’s a magical creation by some super-creative genius.
