In my five-year Rich Habits Study I gathered an enormous amount of data on the rich and the poor.

One of the questions I am often asked about by the media is, “Who were the rich? What did they do?”

Well, if you receive my articles, you know that the “Rich” made their money in one of four ways:

  1. Saver-Investor Wealth Path or
  2. Big Company Climber Wealth Path or
  3. Virtuoso Wealth Path or
  4. Dreamer-Entrepreneur Wealth Path

Sixty-One percent of the Self-Made Millionaires were Dreamer-Entrepreneurs. These individuals started some business they were passionate about. These individuals may have also been “professionals” or “Virtuosos” and many of these Dreamers also came from Corporate America.

The Dreamers who left Corporate America to start their own businesses did so for one of three reasons:

  1. They saw a niche their company was not filling or
  2. They grew tired and intolerant in having to deal with the Politics that is inherent in the Big Company Climber Path or
  3. They were fired from their “senior” positions

Ever Self-Made Millionaire has their own, individual reasons for pursuing wealth. Each millionaire could write a book about their journey. The more I learned about these Self-Made Millionaires, the more I realized how heroic many of them were, particularly the Dreamer-Entrepreneurs.
