Wealth is a magnifier.
If you are greedy, more wealth will make you more greedy.
If you are charitable, more wealth will make you more charitable.
For some reason, the media chooses to focus on pushing negative content. So naturally, most of its articles about the wealthy are centered around those who are defective in some way.
But, as I found out from my Rich Habits research, most of the wealthy are very good people. They do good in the world. They contribute to community-based non-profits, build hospitals, football fields, gyms, fund food kitchens, cancer research, build playgrounds, etc. They are typically very involved in helping improve the lives of their families, friends and the communities in which they live.
That’s the rule, not the exception.
If you are a bad person, selfish, deficient in character, immoral, untrustworthy, uncaring, etc., wealth will only make you more of what you already were before you became wealthy.
If you are a good person, selfless, strong in character, moral, trustworthy, caring, etc., wealth will only make you more of what you already were before you became wealthy.
Wealth doesn’t change you. It makes you more of what you already are.
