Being among the best at what you do makes you a Virtuoso. Being a Virtuoso, happens to be one of the 4 Paths to Building Wealth.

Olympians are Virtuosos because of the way they Practice.

Olympians engage in 3 Types of Practice:

  1. Core Skills Practicing – This type of practice requires 2-3 hours each day. Example: Professional tennis players practice hitting forehands, backhands, lobs, volleys, drop shots and overheads 2-3 hours each day
  2. Deliberate Practice – Deliberate Practice involves practicing sub-sets of your Core Skills. This type of practice requires 1-2 hour each day. Example: Professional tennis players practice hitting deep forehands, crosscourt forehands, down the line forehands and down the middle forehands 1-2 hour each day.
  3. Analytical Practice – This type of practice requires that you enlist the services of a coach or mentor, whose singular purpose is to evaluate the way you practice your Core Skills and Sub-Set Skills. Coaches or mentor then provide you with valuable feedback to help you improve the way you practice those skills. Example: Professional tennis players have a coach who evaluates each practice/match and provides feedback.
