In a world-first trial involving patients from the US, UK, Australia, France, Canada and Israel, researchers funded by Cancer Research UK found that regularly exercising aerobically reduced the incidence of recurrent or new cancers by 37%.

Daily Aerobic Exercise has many benefits, but one of the most important benefits is that daily aerobic exercise boosts the flow of lymphatic fluid throughout the body. The lymphatic system is part of the immune system and lymph fluid carries white blood cells and T-Cells to where they are most needed.

Lymph fluid flows slowly, but that flow is increased dramatically during physical aerobic activity, such as running, jogging, sports or cycling. Those who do not exercise regularly have a compromised immune system because their lymphatic fluid is not flowing adequately enough to attack new or recurring cancers.

One of the best strategies to habitualize daily aerobic exercise, which I discovered in my Rich Habits research, was the “One Mile a Day” strategy, which I’ve written about.
