You cannot fake confidence. You either have it or you don’t.

  1. Become Competent – For those in Skill-Based Professions, practice 3-4 hours a day the critical skills you must become competent in in order to perform at high levels in your profession/industry. For Knowledge-Based Professions, read and study 1-2 hours every day. Focus on facts/information that are specific to your profession/industry. Competent people have a high degree of confidence
  2. Succeed – When you pursue success and succeed, that success puts your level of confidence in yourself on steroids. Successful people have the greatest degree of confidence.
  3. Overcome Adversity – Facing and overcoming Adversity gives you confidence you will be able to overcome future Adversity. Those who survive Adversity gain enormous confidence in themselves and their abilities.
