I am very fortunate. I had 306 success mentors – the 177 self-made millionaires plus the 233 poor individuals I interviewed for my Rich Habits Study plus JC Jobs.

The 177 self-made millionaires taught me what to do and the 128 poor people taught me what not to do. When you are pursuing success, its not enough to know what to do. You must also know what not to do. Knowing what not to do helps you avoid making mistakes that cost you time and money.

JC Jobs is the future, ideal version of me. I’ve been chasing JC, trying to emulate him, since I created his character in my first book, Rich Habits back in 2010. Even though JC is a fictional person, to me he represents a very real person – someone who possesses certain success traits I knew I needed in order to be as successful and wealthy as JC.

Those pursuing any of the four paths to wealth, need a Success Hero – someone who walked the same path in building their wealth that they can emulate. And the amazing thing is that you don’t have to follow just one. As I learned – the more the merrier. But your Success Hero does need to be someone who took the same path to building wealth that you are taking.

Where can you find your Success Heroes?

The good news is that they are all around you. You can find them by volunteering – they are on boards of non-profit groups. You can find them at the workplace, those exceptional employees, bosses or clients/customers just doing their job exceptionally well. You can find them in classrooms teaching. They’re alive in books that inspire and motivate. Success Heroes, like Jack Canfield, Robin Sharma, Tony Robbins and many others, teach at seminars, or they run webinars, or host podcasts.

When you find one, study how they live their lives, how they manage their lives, how they work, who they surround themselves with, what they do every day. Get to know them. Each success hero you find can inspire you, motivate you, and guide you. They force you to look inward, to become self-aware, so that you can learn more about your strengths and weaknesses.

It’s never too late. Find your success hero today. Follow their breadcrumbs. Those breadcrumbs will steer you in the right direction and help you find success in your life.
