Repetitive thoughts, especially when tied to emotion, creates strong neural pathways (synapses) in the brain. Because these synapses are physical things, the brain is unable to distinguish between reality-thoughts or delusional-thoughts
This is why it is so important to be aware of your thoughts and to control them.
If your thoughts are positive, upbeat and focused on your ideal reality, the subconscious part of your brain will go to work to bring about that new reality.
Daily affirmations, tied to emotion, just after waking and just before bedtime, allow the subconscious part of the brain to nudge you, through intuition, into taking actions that will help you manifest that ideal life.
Why is it important to repeat your daily affirmations after waking and right before going to sleep?
During these two time periods, your brain is in the Alpha state. When you are in the Alpha state, a pathway opens up in the Corpus Callosum, which is the mass of brain tissue that separates the right side of the brain from the left side of the brain. The Corpus Callosum happens to be connected to the three major parts of the brain: NeoCortex, Limbic System and Brain Stem. So, when you are in Alpha state, you momentarily marshall the resources of your entire brain in helping you create your ideal life.
When emotions are linked to your affirmations, the subconscious mind becomes both the architect and cheerleader – it creates the blueprint for your ideal life and motivates you to take certain actions. The conscious mind, meanwhile, takes over the physical part by physically engaging in the actions needed in order to manufacture your ideal life.
