Do you read in the bathroom?
I do. In fact, I have a book in several rooms in the house.
I put the books there as a trigger to read whenever I enter any of those rooms.
Last year I read 10 books sitting on Sir John Harrington’s invention, the jon.
Here’s how I did it using simple math: I spend about ten minutes every day in the jon. Ten minutes multiplied by 365 days in a year = 3,650 minutes, or about sixty hours. It normally takes me less than six hours to read a book. So, ten books times six hours = sixty hours.
My point is that finding time for self-education reading is not hard. You can read in the bathroom like I do. You can also listen to audio books while driving in your car, weeding the garden, or exercising. Get into the habit of having a book to read or listen to with you at all times.
Most avoid self-education like the plague and that is why most wallow in mediocrity.

If you’re not rich, it’s probably because you don’t use your time wisely, not because you don’t have enough time.
